Ceara Resort

The rooms have a cottage feel, built with large stones rather than bricks, and the place was neat and clean. There’s a big pool surrounded by rooms, and it seems suited to a short stay. The restaurant serves only vegetarian food. A few things made the stay difficult. The pool is 5.9 feet deep, which felt too deep, and there’s no guard, so someone could slip in. That seems risky for children and shorter people. There’s also no covered parking, which I disliked in the hot summer. The hotel should have contacts for travel agents who rent out cabs. Only three or four people seem to manage the whole hotel around the clock. Response times need work. The bathroom was large and nice, but the flush and shower didn’t work properly, and my complaint wasn’t addressed. A parking shed for cars would help too.

The management did an appreciable job with the wedding functions, which were organized with a generous budget and grace. The marriage hall is spacious and beautiful, and the resort also has decent rooms overlooking the pool. It works well for both stays and functions.

The large courtyard works well for open parties and cultural programs, and the charges are nominal, since there aren't many similar resorts near Sirsa town. There’s ample parking, good rooms and strong service, plus a theater, conference room and big party hall. It’s on the highway, so getting there is easy.

The food arrangements weren't proper and the service fell short of what it should be. Still, PVR is a good place to watch a movie.
