The staff were friendly and courteous, and the restaurant had plenty of tasty choices. The rooms are clean, though a bit tight for two, and you can see the sincere effort behind the place. It’s an old house turned into a hotel and restaurant, right in the middle of the market. Finding it can be tricky, and parking is a problem, but if you can overlook that, the stay and food are enjoyable.
An old heritage building, kept in good shape. If that’s the kind of place you enjoy staying in, you’ll love it.
The vintage setting and location make it worth experiencing, but the service was awful. The manager was the rudest person I’ve ever spoken with, and that made the whole stay feel crappy. Go for the place, but don’t expect a decent conversation with the manager.
The staff were well mannered, and the toilets were clean. Towels and basic toiletries were provided too. It’s an old property with a vintage feel, maintained well and equipped decently. It doesn’t seem to have a kitchen, though they can bring in food from outside if you need it.
I was surprised by how spacious the rooms were, especially since I hadn’t expected much when I booked. It’s a large ancestral home handed over to Oyo, with high ceilings and big bathrooms. The room fittings were new, and the manager was helpful.
