I was in Kochi for work and stayed at Hotel Barooj last February. The staff were helpful, service was nice, and breakfast had a decent selection. My only suggestion would be to improve the toilet fittings. Aside from that, it was a comfortable stay.

The location is the standout, with Lulu just a four-minute walk away. The rooms were spacious and really good, though there was a small leak under the bathroom sink.

I booked Burooj HOTEL on 23 September 2025 for my son's birthday party on 23 October, a month in advance. The event was meant to run from 6 to 9 in the evening, and we needed to get in two hours early to decorate. But Manager Badru only gave us the hall at 6 pm. We were told the owner had arranged a corporate program there from 9 in the morning until 6. I asked Manager Badru several times for the owner's number, but he wasn’t willing to share it. After the party I spoke with a new manager, who said his job was to collect money from clients. Is that how customers are supposed to be treated? I had booked the hall with Mr. Noushad, who was a gentle man. I suggest anyone considering booking the hotel check everything first.

Easy to reach in Edapally, and the hotel was well maintained and clean. They provided breakfast coupons. I’d recommend it for families too.
