After my two-night stay, the main problems were the old AC, which only made noise and didn't cool properly, and the mosquitoes in the room, so bring repellent. The bed was comfortable and the ceiling fan worked well. Hot water was available at all times, though there's no separate dry area in the bathroom, leaving the whole floor wet and slippery after bathing. Lulu Mall, Edappally is about one kilometre away.

We booked two rooms for six people at Shams Inn, and the price was very affordable. Each room fit three comfortably, and we all slept peacefully. The rooms and bathrooms were super clean, and the AC cooled really well. They supplied soap, shampoo, toothbrushes, and toothpaste, plus each room had a smart TV, two mugs, two glasses, and a kettle for making tea or coffee. It worked out great for our family group and was a comfortable stay for the money.

The room was spacious and even had a mini fridge. The hotel is right in the city centre, about 600 metres from Lulu Mall, and the price was budget friendly. We had a great stay.

They kept our luggage at the front desk for around two hours after checkout, which helped. The room was good, with the basic amenities, and the location near Lulu Mall was great. For what we paid, it was worth it.

There are lots of places to eat nearby, and Lulu hypermarket and the mall are an easy walk away. The hotel is right by the highway, and you can reach the metro entrance through the mall passage. Weekends get far too crowded, though, and there isn't a sports section or outlet.
