Hotel Dhruva, Solapur ( Pet Friendly )

For 3700 per day for 3 occupancy, this was a terrible stay. The AC seemed about 20 years old and barely switched on and off for show. The bathrooms were untidy, and there was no water from the wash basin. Restaurant food was below average and expensive. Even a roadside lodge would be better.

The rooms are tiny, and cockroaches were roaming around inside. Breakfast was included, but the quality was poor and it felt unhealthy and completely unhygienic. They provided a blanket, bedsheet, and towel. A waste of money, especially with other good hotels available in the same budget in Solapur. Don’t choose Hotel Dhruva.

There were hardly any breakfast choices, despite it being complimentary, and it wasn’t worth the price. The basic room hadn’t been cleaned, and the bed and blankets were so hard they weren’t comfortable.

I only found out at the counter that they accepted cash only, not online payment. On my return visit on 17th August 2025, I was disappointed after having such good room service and food last year in January 2024. The linen was in poor condition, the shower didn’t work, and the room AC was leaking and in bad shape. I asked reception to change rooms, but they delayed. The complimentary breakfast wasn’t as good or tasty as it had been on my last visit. The staff and management didn’t seem interested in running the hotel the way the previous management had.
