Sharada Residency - Hostel

We stayed one night at Sharada to be near the Beedahalli trek point, and were very satisfied. The owner/caretaker was incredibly helpful with our food questions and trek logistics. The rooms were clean, service was excellent, and we especially appreciated the morning hot water and kettle in each room. Highly recommended.

On our way to Kukke, we stayed for one night. The location was good, the rooms were clean, and the staff courteous. There isn't a restaurant.

Thank you, Nischal. I mistakenly booked a room without free cancellation, but when I called the hotel, Mr Nischal guided me and helped me get the free cancellation. It shows that people who care about helping don't worry whether you're a guest or not.

We had a very pleasant stay, and the staff were friendly. The room was spacious and clean, with four beds, and we got a complimentary 1 litre bislery water bottle each day. Its location close to mall and Madikeri was convenient. There's no in-house restaurant, but they have restaurant contacts that deliver to the hotel. A few things could be better: the room could be cleaned daily, morning tea was missed even after two reminders, and the staff could explain the complicated geyser system proactively.
