Agonda Beach Bumps

We visited at the end of January, when there were very few Indian tourists, which was a plus for us. It’s a typical South Goa shack, with the basics covered: hygiene, service, bathroom, and toiletries. The room was spacious enough for two in the bed and another person on a mattress on the floor. Food and service were good, and the prices were reasonable. We tried almost everything on the menu, vegetarian and non-vegetarian. The taste was much like the other shacks in Agonda. A no-frills stay for a beach break.

You can sit in a peaceful, clean setting and enjoy a great view of the sea from the restaurant. The menu is reasonably priced, and the food was delicious, though service took a moderate amount of time. There are vegetarian and non-vegetarian options across Indian, Chinese, Continental, Thai, and Israeli cuisines.

The only downside for me was a few power cuts at night. Otherwise, this was a simple, quiet, relaxed stay right on a very clean beach, in a great location. The staff were really friendly and accommodating. If you’re after a low-key holiday without many frills, this place works well.

Beach Bumps was a great place to stay on Agonda Beach, one of my favorite places to visit in Goa. The huts were well maintained, the food was good, and the staff were friendly. We really enjoyed our stay.
