Agonda Heritage

The location was good, and once we’d settled in, the stay felt comfortable. The rooms at Agonda heritage resort were clean and nice, though on the small side. It has the potential to be a pleasant place for travelers.

We spent almost a week here, and even our cat approves! It’s pet friendly, peaceful, and affordable, at the north end of Agonda beach. From the room and balcony, the ocean view is wonderful. The rooms have the essentials, including AC, hot water, a kettle, a mini fridge, and smart TV. The owner and staff were helpful, and special thanks to Jitender, Suraj, and Ankit for making our stay comfortable. The restaurant is just a few steps away. Recommended for a quiet stay.

The view was spectacular, the accommodation comfortable, and the staff courteous. Agonda Heritage is a lovely beach property, with its own restaurant just steps from the water. It’s the sort of place I’d like to return to. Thanks to the property owner, SV, for the wonderful New Year’s Eve gift ❤️✌️

The food was extremely poor, and after eating it, family members had stomach problems. We had to extend our stay because of the illness we believe the food caused. The homestay has no restaurant of its own and relies on nearby eateries run by the same owner. Its complimentary breakfast was misleading and too little for a family: just one item, either one bread, one paratha, or one pancake. Management and hospitality were very poor. There was no room service, and when we asked for cleaning, staff rudely told us to clean it ourselves. The bedsheet they supplied on request was old, worn, and strongly smelled of cigarettes. We were charged ₹500 for an extra bed that was never provided, and the money wasn’t returned even though we told them before checkout. Poor hygiene and management, bad food, and unfair charging. I strongly wouldn’t recommend this, especially to families.
