The cocktails are the best on the beach, and the staff are brilliant, friendly, and professional. Casa Fiesta is without doubt the best restaurant on Patnem beach, with top-notch food and what I think is the freshest fish and seafood there, brought daily from Karwar fish market. I think the negative reviews are unfair. Since it's the best restaurant on Patnem, it can get really busy, sometimes with tables of 20 plus people. At a busy restaurant anywhere in the world, you can't expect food in 20 minutes. If it's busy and you don't want to wait, go elsewhere, but give it another try when it's quieter.

We had a lovely candle light dinner with delicious fresh seafood. The butter garlic tiger prawns and tandoori king fish were both great.

The setting is beautiful and ideally placed for sunset, but the music completely spoiled it for us. Just as our drinks arrived, they started blasting bass-heavy tech music, more suited to a dance floor than a calm beach evening. We could barely hear the waves, so we finished our drinks quickly and left. There were only a couple of full tables, so I don't know who they were trying to attract. Restaurants line the beach side by side, and the others keep things low-key. Casa Fiesta's music could be heard across almost the whole beach. We had to walk all the way to the end to get away from it. One venue taking over the sound of a public beach feels selfish and arrogant. A stunning location wasted by owners who mistake volume for atmosphere and seem not to care who they disturb.

The fish was fresh and tasty, and the portions were generous. We had a great evening sitting with our feet in the sand, watching the sunset with quiet, relaxing music and a really romantic atmosphere. The staff were amazing and well organized. Thank you for having us.

We came back for a second year, and the food is still so tasty. There's a wide choice, from traditional Indian dishes to familiar European ones, and everything is delicious. The atmosphere is great too. The casa boys are professional, and Thakurdass deserves a special mention as the best in the business. Thank you for your care! Come here for excellent service, lovely food, and a beautiful sea view at sunset ❤️
