The location was great, near the beach and taxi station, and the staff were nice and helpful. The bar next door stays open until around 12am, so don’t expect an early night. It wasn’t a big problem for us with earplugs, but you’ll want them here. The room was a letdown. We were shown one room, then got a different, slightly older one when we came back to pay the next day. There were big cockroaches and centipedes getting in through holes in the floor and walls. The photos make everything look much better than it is. In reality, it was old and unclean. The bathroom was a nightmare, with an odd running water system and all kinds of insects. The old, mismatched bedsheets and towels looked like they came from grandma’s house. They only clean if you ask. I don’t understand the idea of a “private pool”: it’s tiny and dirty, and only useful for washing feet.

The worst hotel stay I’ve had in Goa. We paid ₹6,000 a night without food, and the place didn’t come close to justifying that price. The rooms were dirty, badly kept, and felt unsafe, with mice inside. The doors and gates didn’t give proper privacy or security, and some switches were burnt. There was no housekeeping during our two nights, no water bottles or dental kits, and no restaurant or food service. The washrooms had neither the upkeep nor hygiene I’d expect at this price. The so-called hotel looked like cardboard shacks, and there was no parking. I had to pay an extra ₹500 to use a private lot for two days. Basic hospitality and safety were missing. It felt like a rip-off, and I’d avoid it. Rating: 0.5/5.

The garden is cosy and the rooms are spacious, clean, and great. It’s in a great location, but the staff are the best part. I’ve stayed here three times now, and I’m definitely coming back.

The beach is only a short walk away, which made this a lovely spot for a peaceful break. I spent two days here in December 2023 and found the room clean, comfortable, and well looked after. The pool was clean too, and great for a relaxing dip. It was a good deal with excellent amenities and spotless hygiene. Thanks especially to Anil, who was humble, friendly, and quick to help with all my requests. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable stay in a handy location.
