We first heard about Jerone’s Home Stay from a close friend, and the owners’ warm welcome was a lovely surprise. The rooms are spacious, air-conditioned, well ventilated, and spotless, as are the kitchen and bathroom. The property is quiet, with fruit trees, birds, and domestic animals adding to the peaceful feel. The homestay is about a twenty-minute drive from Goa Dabolim International Airport, and the beach is within walking distance. It’s clean and serene, with clear blue water rolling onto the shore. Compared with most beaches, it’s less crowded, leaving plenty of room for swimming, water sports, long walks, reading, or watching the sunset. There’s also a Lake just 200 meters down the road, where you can kayak or paddle boat. It felt like our own private retreat. Thanks to Jerome’s family, we got to try kayaking and paddle boating for the first time, an unforgettable experience. We found the stay wonderfully relaxing, a place to enjoy nature and reset. We’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for warmth, safety, security, and a homely atmosphere away from home.
