Lotus Beach Resort

The pool is big, and breakfast had just the right amount of choice. The location is good too, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The place does look a little old, though, and the bathroom fittings and other bits need maintenance.

It’s an easy five-minute walk to the beach, and both the property and its location are good. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fine, though not extensive. We had to call someone about the AC, but it was sorted by evening. The bathroom was good and had a heater. The toiletries were just soap and shampoo, and there’s no refrigerator in the room.

The grounds are very neat, with lovely lawns and walkways, and the resort is beautiful and very close to the beach. A private road leads straight down to it. Food was excellent at dinner, especially the chicken dishes, though breakfast had no South Indian options and lunch didn’t offer much variety. The premium cottages are wooden, but the rest are made of asbestos. They hold the heat, so it’s extremely hard to stay inside during the day without AC.

The staff were wonderful, and I’m already looking forward to another visit. Rooms were very nice and well maintained for the country, and the food was good. There are also lots of good restaurants nearby on the beach. Prices felt fair for the area, though, like we’ve found with all hotels here, online bookings can come with extra charges because the rules aren’t explained clearly 😅. It’s a beautiful place to stay while visiting Goa.
