Namaste Beach Huts

It's not the usual beach shack. On Patnem beach, Sonia, Satay and their fabulous team have made a special place to relax, indulge, meet people and make friends. The restaurant serves amazing Indian food from the tandoor, seafood, and Western dishes if you're missing the taste of home. You feel like a friend here, greeted with chai and a smile, at a home away from home. Namaste, hello, bonjour and welcome are more than words, they're a real commitment. Thanks to the cleaning ladies for keeping everything immaculate, the open-kitchen cooks, the man peeling garlic behind the curtain, and Ash, Tiger, Paras, plus everyone whose name I've forgotten. We'll be back.

Dinner on the beach here is such a blissful experience, and the cocktails are really good. The white rum one especially doesn't leave me with a headache. The food is great because it's cooked fresh, though sometimes there's a wait. The staff work incredibly hard, running around from morning until 1 o'clock in the morning, so leave them a tip if you enjoy it. I saw a guy thank everyone when he checked out tonight but leave nothing in the tip box, which seemed a bit mean. Fran

I only tried the restaurant, not the accommodation, and the food was good. The hospitality was the best I've come across in a long time, and the margaritas were super. Shout out to Ash and his amazing skills. They do everything perfectly. Check them out.

We didn't stay here, just came for dinner. Even though the place looked almost too big and crowded at first, after trying all the restaurants during our time in Patnem, this was the only one we went back to for a second dinner. The wait wasn't extreme despite how many guests they had, and the food was absolutely impeccable. You can't go wrong here.
