It’s right on the beach, with wooden huts and sea-facing rooms. If that’s the kind of place you’re after, it’s a great spot. I tried both the sea-facing and non-sea-facing rooms. At night you hear a lot of waves because you’re so close to the ocean. The food and service were okay and could be better. The bathroom fittings in our room were broken. I booked through Oyo, but it didn’t feel like an Oyo stay. Providing a toiletry kit alone doesn’t make it one.

We came away disappointed with the massage center at the hotel. My wife, a friend, and I expected it to be good because the resort looked nice, but we had to explain how to give a massage. Bhojpuri songs played from the technicians’ mobile, which made an already unpleasant experience worse. The first two therapists didn’t know how to do it, so we had to call three different therapists. My friend’s neck froze after the massage. We’re all doctors, so we were able to guide them and protect ourselves. It was completely unprofessional and best avoided. The hotel rooms and location themselves are great.

The staff were courteous and the food was good, and dinner by candlelight beside the waves made for a unique experience. From the deluxe room we had a great beach view and an awesome sunset. It felt very close to nature.

The food was really tasty, though a bit expensive. You’re paying extra to eat while looking out at the sea. The beachside huts are made from tents.

We were lucky to get a sea-facing hut on the first floor, and I had a great experience. You could consider it if you want a beach hut kind of stay, though I wouldn’t really call it a hotel.
