OYO 5583 Alagoa Resort

The location was a highlight, and the staff kept the swimming pool in good shape. The rooms, though, are very small and hard to spend time in. I booked a deluxe room with a bathtub, but the bathroom needed better upkeep: there was a lot of dirt on the floor and tub, and the tap was broken. The restaurant is across from the resort. The buffet had limited choices and no non-vegetarian food.

A peaceful, clean place, and the food was really tasty. I'd opt for the breakfast buffet. There aren't restaurants nearby, but Zomato and Swiggy are available for late-night cravings. My stay was good.

Dinner and breakfast were part of my one-night booking, but neither meal was good. The food tasted stale and had no proper flavor. My room was poor too, in a very old building, with an old AC and blankets that smelled like they were a decade old. They charged me for a towel with a few small spots. It was a terrible stay, and I regret booking here. I won't book this property again, and wouldn't expect anything good.

We were a karate team from Delhi, checking in at around 10:00 PM on 26th October 2025 and leaving around 9:30 AM on 27th October 2025. There was only one towel in the room. At checkout, staff said a towel was missing and wanted to charge us. We said we hadn't taken one and invited them to check our bags. They searched all of them, found nothing missing, but still tried to make us pay. The staff were rude and unprofessional. It felt like they were making a false claim to get extra money from guests. Very poor experience, not recommended. Families and groups should avoid this place.
