We were traveling with our 1-year-old daughter, so the chef’s care in preparing separate baby-friendly food meant a lot to us. A heartfelt thanks to the chef, and to the kitchen team, Aman, Ishu, Akshay, Rahul, and Arun, for being polite and supportive. Mr. Pawan especially made things smooth and stress-free. He was easy to approach, proactive, and willing to help without hesitation. People like him are a real asset. The reception team was okay, though there’s room to improve. Being more attuned to guests, especially families with infants, would make the experience better. Overall we were comfortable, and Pawan and the kitchen staff made our family trip memorable. With some improvement at reception, Sea Star Resort could do even better.

My own experience at sea star was good, but the restaurant food ruined the stay for us. Five or six of my friends got sick from it, so I strongly advise sea star to improve the food quality. I’d tell people to choose another resort in Agonda for food. The room had a good view, but its condition was horrible. They didn’t provide essentials unless you called repeatedly to get them, and the air conditioning wasn’t working.

The sea was right there, easy to visit any time, day or night, and the shacks were good too. The beach cottages and huts were cute and chic, with amazing sea views. Service and food were really great, and everything felt worth the money. I’d definitely come back.

We took the sea facing front cottage. The room was really nice, and the staff were very friendly. They have a handy outdoor bathing area for when you come back from the beach. It’s pet friendly for a charge, and they even provided boiled chicken for my dog. I’ll definitely return, though I wasn’t very keen on the food and hope they improve it.

A great place to stay in Agonda, with neat rooms and really cool, helpful staff. The in-house restaurant served good food, and the hospitality was great. I just wish the restaurant faced the beach, like others in the area. It has a real South Goan feel.
