The Nautical Nest

The balcony was our favorite part, a lovely place to sit and take in the view. We stayed at The Nautical Nest in Canacona and found the apartment clean, cozy, and carefully looked after. It matched the listing, with tasteful furnishings and modern amenities, plus reliable Wi-Fi and a smart TV. Our host was helpful and quick to respond from arrival through checkout. With quiet surroundings and Cafe and seafood restaurants easy to reach, it worked well as a base for exploring the calmer side of Goa. We’d gladly return and recommend it to anyone visiting Canacona.

The sunsets from the terrace were a highlight of our two nights in the Penthouse at Nautical Nest. The ocean stretches out uninterrupted, and as the light fades the sky turns amber and rose, making the terrace feel like a private place to watch the evening unfold. Inside, the restrained design keeps the sea in focus. The rooms were immaculate, with clean lines and a calm palette, and the details all felt considered. The pool area was just as well maintained and complements the ocean view. Morning swims were energizing, while evenings beside the water felt peaceful. Service was polished but never showy. The staff were warm, attentive, and seemed to understand what guests needed without fuss. The Penthouse has refinement and calm rather than excess. For travelers after a serene coastal stay, the experience stayed with me well after leaving.

Those balcony views and the home-like feel made our 3 days at Vista Verde so restful. It’s a great spot for couples or anyone wanting a quiet break. We felt completely rejuvenated, with slow, peaceful mornings away from the crowds.

Getting to the beach takes about a 15-minute walk, so it’s easy to enjoy both the hills and the shore. Just keep in mind that the walk from Palolem Hill may be difficult for older people. The rooms were clean and lovely, and the host was kind and looked after us throughout. Aside from that location concern for elders, we had a wonderful, comfortable stay.
