Hotel Menino Executive

We booked a room for three days at 2.2k per day, but after reaching reception we decided not to stay. The room was 8x8, on the second floor of a dirty-looking, third-class complex, and nothing like the photos and video they posted. All the hotel's pictures and that one uploaded video are fake. It's a scam.

The staff were excellent, which was the one real highlight. The hotel itself feels past its prime and needs updating.

I paid around 4k per night on a company business trip, with breakfast and dinner listed as complimentary. As a food technologist, I know what fresh food should be like. We checked in in the afternoon, and reception told us to come for dinner at 8:35 pm. It was supposed to be a buffet, but staff said there was no buffet unless 200 people were there. The non-veg option also had to be ordered and paid for separately. After we found that out, they offered a thali with all the buffet items. The thali was the biggest disappointment: nothing was fresh, the potatoes and dal were very cold, and the mixed veg curry was so stale anyone could tell. For that price, this felt like a scam. I'm here for two days and it's only the first day, so I don't know how breakfast will be. I'll update after I leave. The cups for making tea or coffee had fungus in them, which could have caused serious health issues if someone hadn't checked.

A decent venue, one of the best in ponda. The food was decent too.
