Dinner and breakfast were brought out hot and fresh. They were simple, but delicious, especially in such a remote and beautiful spot. Our clean, cozy room was equipped for the chilly night, and the welcoming staff kept checking that we were comfortable. Grand Pangong Resort is only a short walk from the lake, with lovely sunrise and sunset views. Waking up to calm blue water and rugged mountains was magical. We had a peaceful, scenic stay full of charm, and I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Pangong who wants to relax by the lake and take in the surroundings.

The quiet atmosphere made this stay special. There was no rush or noise, just Pangong’s stillness and a well-managed campsite, a lovely setting for relaxing, taking photos, or enjoying nature. Grand Retreat by Pangong Lake sits just steps from the blue water, and the sunrise and sunset views from camp are stunning. Our room was clean, comfortable, and surprisingly warm despite the cold outdoors. The courteous staff were always ready to help with a smile and made sure we were looked after. The food was fresh, delicious, and suited to the high-altitude climate. I’d highly recommend Grand Retreat and would love to return.

They’ve even got hot and cold AC in the rooms, which made things much more comfortable. The room was clean and well maintained, and staff cleaned the glass ceiling every evening so the night sky stayed crystal clear. The view from the window is breathtaking. This newly built place is easy to reach and has an amazing outlook. Food was good, especially considering the 14000 ft. height and very limited resources. Compared with other nearby properties, it felt like a haven. We really enjoyed our stay.

The property sits a little above the lake rather than right on its shore, and that extra height makes the panoramic view of Pangong even more breathtaking. It’s about 600-700 meters down to the lake, an easy walk that’s well worth it. Staff were extremely helpful throughout, and the property itself is very nice. We had dinner and breakfast there, and both were tasty. The pakoras and tea were especially good. It made for a comfortable, memorable stay, and we highly recommend it to anyone going to Pangong.

We’re Jains, and they took care of all our dietary requirements without leaving room for complaints. Every meal was prepared separately for us, and the chef would come out in person to ask, “what would you like to have Sir?” The rooms were very clean, and the staff were helpful. Grand Retreat is in a great spot between shooting point and village spagmik. It worked perfectly for our family and as a couple’s stay.
