Bloom Boutique - Dal Lake

The room was fine, though nothing about it really stood out. Staff were helpful, the service was pretty good, and the location was handy. A decent stay, and I appreciate the effort! ✨😊👍

We were comfortable during our stay, and I’d recommend Bloom Boutique for its convenient location and welcoming service. It’s right on Mall Road, with shops, places to eat, and local transport all within walking distance. Our spacious, very clean rooms also had a lovely view of Dal Lake. The restaurant is outsourced, which was a small downside. The food was okay, but seemed a little pricey compared with nearby options. Thanks to the Bloom Boutique team for arranging three rooms so quickly for our 4-night visit. Mr.Raes, Mr. Zubair, and the rest of the staff were humble, professional, and ready to help whenever needed.

The little room detail I noticed was the key slot right by the entrance. As soon as you open the door, you can put the key in, instead of walking several steps into the room like at many hotels. They also cleaned our room every day, and breakfast was tasty with good choices. The hotel is spotless and beautifully managed, with cooperative staff who were always willing to help. Its prime location gives you views of Dal lake and makes it easy to walk around the lake and to nearby sights. For our family, this was the best hotel we’ve stayed in. We had planned to visit Vaishno Devi for the third time and Kashmir for the second. We were a little worried after the Pahalgam attack, but our love for Kashmir won out. We’ll come back and stay at Bloom again. I hope the owner keeps up the good work and protects the brand’s reputation as it grows into a big chain across India. Please don’t let the property lose its touch as it gets more popular. Always Bloom dear beautiful Bloom.

We stayed in room 111 for 3 days. The price felt far too high for the location, and getting in and out meant dealing with heavy traffic. Security didn’t help with that. The lift wasn’t working, so we had to take the stairs to the 4th floor. The gate lock and the cleaning button didn’t work either. Our room wasn’t cleaned, towels and water bottles weren’t replaced, and the process written on the doors wasn’t followed by staff. After 2 days, we had to go to reception ourselves to ask about all of this. The food was just okay, and they didn’t seem to know how to cook butter chicken. One of the worst hotels to stay in. Please avoid it, all show and no substance.
