I loved the views from every room on the houseboat. The mornings were amazing, especially sitting and taking in the beauty while hearing the fajr azaan from Hazratbal Dargah. The place is serene, beautifully built, and well maintained. The Butt family were very hospitable. Nadeem, uncle and aunty were extremely courteous, and the staff on the ground were always polite and friendly. Thanks to Ramzan uncle for the hospitality, Mahwat uncle for the extremely delicious Kashmiri cuisine, and Riyaz for taking me to scenic places around. I stayed for 2 nights, loved it, and would recommend it to all my family and friends when they visit.

Dal lake on one side and lovely garden views on the other made this a unique houseboat stay. Built in the 1940s, it has so much history and character that its beauty and legacy are spellbinding. The home-style cooking and bon fire, available on request, made us feel comfortable and at home. A great place to visit if you're in Srinagar and want some peace away from the city hustle.

Being able to reach the houseboat by car was a big plus. It's attached to a Mughal garden, so you don't have to depend on a shikara ride to get there. We wanted a morning shikara ride, though, and one was arranged in no time. Ramzan kaka looked after everything, from small needs to lavish food. The owners were humble, down-to-earth hosts who checked in several times to make sure we were comfortable. It was a great stay. The houseboat is in a peaceful spot on one side of Dal lake, away from the shikara crowds and city traffic. The evening views were awesome, with the mountains and sky reflected on the water. Thanks to Butt family for a memorable visit.

We spent three nights at Clermont Houseboats, and the meals were a highlight. Every dish was delicious, with a lovely taste of local cuisine and clear care in its preparation and presentation. The setting on serene Dal Lake is stunning, with beautiful gardens and grand chinar trees all around. The surrounding natural beauty makes it feel peaceful and picturesque. The staff took such care to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Their attention to detail and warm hospitality made us feel welcome. We had an unforgettable time. The beautiful location, excellent service, and delicious food made the stay memorable, and we highly recommend Clermont Houseboats to anyone who wants to experience Kashmir’s beauty and tranquility.
