The rooms were a pleasant surprise: spacious, clean, well maintained, and more comfortable than I expected. The reception guy was courteous and helpful. Most of the other staff, though, were rude and unprofessional, which made dealing with them unpleasant and left me disappointed with the service.

The location is okay, but I wouldn't recommend this place for the money. Our meal plan came with some really bad food. The firni and kheer, whatever that was, were burnt to the core. Noise was another problem: people in a room played loud music, there was no sound isolation, and it didn't stop even after we complained. Our sleep was ruined, and the hotel felt overpriced for what it offers.

The hand made wall frames and the warm smiles are still fresh in my memory. We stayed at Ibni Kabeer for four days and five nights through Nirmala travels. The rooms were beautiful, service was great and istanantaneous, and the hot water, bed warmers, and dining hall all added to the stay. We didn't expect the return gift for Nirmala travellers, and we'll keep it forever. Thank you to the staff and management for making our time as beautiful as Kashmir herself.

The food is delicious, and both the counter service and customer service were good. The overall experience was good too. They could pay a bit more attention to toilet upkeep and cleaning.

The rooms are dark, there's no lift, and the hotel feels like it's down in a pit. It's a good hotel in some ways, but staff should smile more and sometimes adjust to guests' comfort.
