The people at royal residency made us feel at home, and leaving was hard. I was only 12 when we visited Kashmir from Karnataka in 2011, but it’s still the best place I’ve ever been. Everyone there was so sweet, and it remains my best hotel experience. I still remember sahid uncle, who worked there, and how my sister befriended a guy named sahid. We still talk about him. Our driver imtehaz uncle was the best, too. The tandoori nights attached to the hotel were amazing. The place is lit, and I’d love to be back. Lots of love and hugs to the sweetest people of royal residency.

Set away from the crowds but still close to the city, Royal Residency Kashmir is in Srinagar, an important tourism hub of Jammu and Kashmir. The property has two floors, with rich interiors, 20 furnished, air-conditioned Deluxe Rooms, and 5 luxury suites, described as tastefully decorated and equipped for comfort. In-room features include Wi-Fi, LCD TV with 24-hour satellite channels, heating, safe deposit lockers, direct dial phones, and bath-tubs. There’s also in-house laundry and dry-cleaning, a doctor on call, and personalized 24-hour room service. Breakfast can be Continental, American, or Indian.

What I liked most was the location right in the heart of the city. Staying here made my holidays even better.
