The rooms were beautifully kept, with traditional Kashmiri interiors, and the food was delicious. From our room at King's Houseboats in Nigeen Lake, Srinagar, we woke each morning to striking views of the lake and the Himalayan mountains. We had planned three nights, but the peaceful setting, warm welcome and luxurious comfort convinced us to stay five. It made for an unforgettable visit.

We spent two days here, and I honestly hadn't expected the stay to be this good. The rooms are spacious, bright and hygienic, with good heating, hot water and Wi-Fi. The owners are great people and always ready to help. They guided us well, and the booking and checkout process was transparent. I'd definitely like to stay here again.

The in-house travel counter, Incredible Srinagar, helped organize our complete Kashmir tour package, from taxis and sightseeing to day trips. Everything was affordable, well planned and stress-free. King’s Houseboats in Srinagar was clean and peaceful, with a good spot near Dal Lake that gave us an authentic Kashmir houseboat experience. A fantastic option for a honeymoon, family holiday or winter trip. Highly recommended!❣️

The location made it feel like we had our own island, and this is a place that stays in your memory. The family running Kings Houseboat looked after us as if we were at home. They kept the rooms and halls warm with traditional room heaters, and the home cooked veg and non-veg meals were both extremely delicious. We slept really well under the warm, cozy blankets, with the hot water bags they provide at night. It was an amazing experience, and I'd love to come back. Thanks to the family!

The calm views and smooth ride made the visit memorable. Our room was clean and comfortable, the staff were polite and very helpful, and the food had delicious local flavors. I highly recommend this houseboat.
