OYO 6112 Hotel Snow Palace

I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. We had frequent power cuts, and at night the hotel went dark, making it hard to get out of the room. They didn’t turn on the generator in time, apparently to save fuel, and the hotel took no accountability. The TV problem also remained unresolved despite repeated complaints. They don’t recharge the cable and give a technical issue excuse when customers ask. The food was bad too. If a travel agent offers this hotel in a package, I’d advise against taking it. It’s a waste of time and money.

I visited snow place hotel srinagar for the second time because of the excellent service. The food was excellent, and the service was very nice. Chef Jayram Singh is especially good at cooking both veg and nonveg food. Thankyou Mr kuldip singh , surjit singh , Deep Raj.

The hospitality was good, but the food and room service were really poor. Breakfast was especially bad: they used oil for frying several times, served stale rice, and made the mixed vegetables at noon with vegetables that were already stale. The rooms were average too. When the electricity went off during the day, there was no light or fan, and they only switched it on at night.

I won’t be coming back. The service was very bad, the TV never worked even after I reported it several times, and even the water tasted strange. I was there with my brother-in-law and sister-in-law’s family. They counted the children too and charged us a lot. The room itself was good, but that didn’t make up for the rest.
