Pride Inn Hotel

The food was very good, and we loved our stay at Pride Inn. The staff were great and nice. Two things could be better: the TV connection should work properly, and in winter they should use a heater instead of relying on warm AC.

At checkout, the manager refused the breakfast refund he'd promised and started arguing. He blamed us for not giving advance notice, which wasn't true. We called the staff member who'd spoken with us earlier, and he confirmed we'd told them. The manager was rude, showed no hospitality, and arrogantly told us, "MMT se book kiya na toh jao unko hi complaint karte baitho, hume mat batao". He said to complain to MakeMyTrip and that it wasn't their concern. We also clearly felt they had no respect for MMT or its clients. This kind of attitude, dishonesty, and lack of basic courtesy was unacceptable. We wouldn't recommend the hotel, and I want a full refund for this stay. I strongly suggest delisting this ungrateful and arrogant hotel from MMT platforms. We stayed at Hotel Pride Inn, Rajbagh, Srinagar, booked through MakeMyTrip, and checked in on the evening of 24 December. We told the lady receptionist and a male staff member we'd be leaving at 8:00 am for Sonamarg and asked if our included breakfast could be ready by 7:30. They said it would be ready at 8:00 and packed to take along, which we agreed to. At 8:22 the next morning, the staff member was asleep near reception. When we asked about breakfast, he panicked and said the kitchen was closed. After we explained that Sonamarg is a four-hour journey and we couldn't travel on an empty stomach, he casually offered to make tea in five minutes. That was unacceptable, so we asked for a refund and he agreed. When we returned from Sonamarg, we reminded him about it. Someone who introduced himself as the manager or owner said the refund would be given at checkout the next morning. We also checked again that breakfast would be ready by 8:30 because we had an early flight, and he said yes. After breakfast, when we went to settle the bill, he refused the refund. Very poor service and highly unprofessional management.

The Wi-Fi didn't work, and they said it was because everyone was using it. We were also given dirty blankets, but when we asked for clean ones, they refused. When we requested an extra bed, staff instead told the three of us to share one bed. Very bad service, the worst hotel to stay in.

Mr zahid bahi and azad served us delicious food, and the staff were very helpful. A nice stay and a good experience at hotel pride Inn.
