They changed our rooms even though we’d already booked and paid in advance, moving us to some useless, broken, dirty houseboat. The owner and staff were very disappointing and disgusting, cheaters. Please don’t book here.

We’d recommend heritage safina. The rooms were clean and the atmosphere calm, the food tasted best here, and the staff had a brilliant nature. The location was too cool as well. Everything was too good.

This houseboat has a prime place on Dal Lake, with peaceful water views and a real on-the-lake experience. Many say that’s what makes the stay memorable.

The shikara vala bhaiya was especially nice, and the staff were good too. The room was very nice, and they served tasty food like at our house. All over, very good.

The food quality wasn’t up to the mark, with every dish tasting sweet. The paneer was like it was made in sugar. The toilet flush didn’t work, and the electric supply fluctuated every hour. Wifi wasn’t working either. They called it a heated room, but disconnected the gas connection after 2 hours. Service was poor. Not recommended to anyone.
