We paid ₹1000 for a room and checked in around 3-4 PM. It seemed fine at first, so we went out. When we came back at about 10 PM, large insects were crawling on the bed and pillows. That's a serious hygiene problem. The manager moved us to another room after we complained, but it smelled worse than a public toilet. We couldn't stand it for even 10 minutes. When we asked to move again, he said, “Yeh aisi hi rahegi,” and told us the other rooms were sold out. He blamed OYO for managing the property and said there was nothing he could do. We could either stay in those rooms or leave. My wife and I felt unsafe, so we had to check out at 11 PM, exhausted and frustrated, and look for somewhere else in an unfamiliar place. Fortunately, we found a nearby hotel and checked in around 11:15 PM. The hotel wouldn't refund us, saying OYO handled refunds. OYO then refused, saying we “don’t have enough proof.” Both sides avoided responsibility while we were left to deal with it. This was one of the worst hotel stays I've had. If hygiene, safety, cleanliness, or basic service matter to you, don't book here.
