The hosts were friendly, honest, and helpful, and they always tried to meet my needs, especially when it came to tea. I felt at home in a clean, cosy, quaint room, and the dining room was elegant. The food was simple but nice. The hotel also had amazing heating, really good food, and hospitable staff. I’d recommend a hike to Naranag while staying here. 2

We visited in May and found the service good, with a local feel to the place. The hotel keeper was polite, helpful, and attentive to what we needed. Just be aware that the floorboards creak as you walk, so it feels like the whole neighborhood will know when you're moving around.

The owner runs the property with the staff and goes out of his way to make guests comfortable. They can also arrange a full travel package covering different places on your Kashmir visit bucket list. We had an excellent stay.
