The Vintage Srinagar At Dal Lake

The view over the peaceful Dal Lake was a lovely part of dining here, and the staff made the meal feel personal. They were attentive and courteous, and happily explained where the dishes came from. We tried the signature Rogan Josh and Gustaba, both tender, aromatic, and full of flavor. Saffron rice and freshly baked naan went beautifully with them. The Vintage Srinagar Restaurant has a cozy, heritage-inspired atmosphere, with detailed woodwork and soft lighting that reflects Srinagar’s cultural charm. Its cooking brings traditional Kashmiri flavors together with warm hospitality. Whether you’re local or visiting, it’s a must-visit for a true taste of Kashmir.

The highlight of my trip was dinner at the W Water Front Open Terrace Restaurant. The Dal Lake views were stunning, and the food was mouth-watering. Hotel Vintage Dal Lake View is a beautiful property on NH Ghat 2, and the lake scenery makes a strong impression as soon as you arrive. I also enjoyed freshly baked pastries with well-brewed coffee and cappuccino at the coffee shop. There’s an in-house handicrafts emporium featuring Kashmiri art and culture. The staff were genuinely friendly and attentive, and took care of the details. There’s elevator access, several payment options including e-payments, debit and credit cards, and cash, plus free valet parking for hotel and dining guests. A hospital and ATM are conveniently nearby, and the in-house washrooms are clean. Must visit and stay for the stunning Dal Lake views. Thankyou.

We came to the rooftop restaurant to enjoy our first snowfall, and the open view through its glass walls was beautiful. It also had central heating. We were there during our first family holiday in Kashmir, and stayed at the Vintage Hotel first, right after landing in Srinagar. Temperatures were between 0 and -5 degrees, with snowfall, but the heating worked so well that we didn’t feel cold at all. The room was very well maintained, neat, and aesthetically beautiful. We also really liked the food, with its great taste and lots of options. Every staff member gave excellent, friendly service and was very informative. The food was a highlight for us, fresh, tasty, and consistently well prepared. Staff were polite, supportive, and there whenever we needed help, which made the whole stay smooth and comfortable from the moment we arrived. We loved the beautiful view of Dal Lake. The location is convenient for exploring Srinagar but still feels calm and relaxing. Our room was clean, cozy, and well maintained, just right for unwinding after a long day.
