There seem to be charges and rules for every little thing. Water is only available during certain hours, so it feels as if guests have to plan around the hotel's schedule. Even making Maggi can cost extra, whether it takes 2 minutes or 5. If you plan to cook, bring your own cylinder. For one person to use AC, expect to pay another ₹1,000. The rooms are shown online as non-AC, but on arrival we were told AC could be connected in the same room for that extra amount. So it is available, with an additional charge.

We felt at home and comfortable during our stay. The hosts were caring, warm, and supportive, and responded quickly when we needed help finding medical emergency contacts. We're truly grateful to them. Highly recommend.

The Kumaradhaara river is very close by, which gives the place a rustic feel. It's also well connected to nearby places like Mangalore, Udupi, and Coorg. The host couple were friendly and available to help 24*7. A quiet, lovely, clean, peaceful place to stay.

Rooms were clean and well maintained, and the hospitality was great. A good homestay at a reasonable price.
