The AC worked, but getting around the place was a problem. The stairs are cramped and slippery. Inside the room, the bedsheet was dirty, there was no mirror, and the bathroom lock was jammed. Some chairs were broken, and the catering guy came across as creepy. The hotel itself looks pretty shady.
The food was good, especially the chhole bhature, rice with dal tadka, and the tea. The location near Lal Diggi Chowk in Sultanpur was nice too. The room seemed quite clean, though we found insects on the blanket one day and a dead one under the mattress. The bathroom also needed cleaning.
The hotel was average, and the staff were rude. The waiter, Dharmendra, behaved badly.
The in-room dining was convenient and hygienic, and the food was enjoyable and reasonably priced. The staff were available when needed and helpful, while the room cleaning kept things comfortable and clean. I had a very good stay at Hotel The Divine, and would recommend it for the cleanliness, service, and value.
Service could be slow, and the maintenance and Wi-Fi need improvement. Still, the rooms were clean, the staff polite, and the food satisfactory, though there could be more choices on the menu. The location is convenient. The Devine Hotel in Sultanpur is an average place to stay, probably suited to a short visit.
