Kyan Clarks Inn Sultanpur

We had prepaid for three days, so we had no choice but to stay, and those days felt much longer. Even a single day there was extremely difficult. The rooms were gloomy and had a persistent unpleasant odor, and the room service was very inadequate. Staff seemed poorly trained in basic hospitality. More than once, they rang the bell and tried to enter before waiting for us to open the door, which felt uncomfortable and unprofessional. The property appears online under the Clarks Inn name, but the experience didn’t meet that brand’s standards. The booking photos were misleading and didn’t show the rooms’ real condition. A thoroughly disappointing stay.

Staff behaviour was inadequate. They raise the rate as they see fit, don’t stick to their word, and charge a lot if you’re in need.

The staff were rude and unhelpful, and showed no interest in fixing the problems I reported. The AC barely helped: even at the lowest temperature, the room stayed stiflingly hot, and nothing was done despite multiple complaints. The room itself was a disgrace, with stained walls, dirty linens, and mold in the bathroom corners. Cleanliness clearly wasn’t a priority. It was a complete disaster, and I’ll never stay at Hotel Kyan again. I strongly advise others to avoid it.

Good hotel, very tasty food. Very good 👍
