The hosts were what made our stay special. They took care of us warmly, served delicious home-cooked meals, and helped us plan our day trips and sightseeing. We were surrounded by lush greenery in this lovely Wayanad, Kerala homestay, and the cozy rooms had everything we needed to feel at home. A memorable, enjoyable stay, and I’d recommend it to anyone wanting an immersive experience in Wayanad.

I had a fantastic time at this homestay near the forest. The rooms were cozy and comfortable, and the whole place had a cool, welcoming feel. The service was great. A nice choice for nature lovers wanting to relax.

BEWARE OF STAYING HERE. My experience was horrifying, and there are plenty of better places to stay in Wayanad. Nearby local people stole my car’s side mirror, and the owner, Shyam, and caretaker, Shibin, took no responsibility and left us to deal with it ourselves. There’s no food service or tea and coffee option. Monkeys are all around the house, so you can’t even sit outside and eat. If you bring a car, you could lose a part to theft there.

We chose this estate partly because the national highway runs along its frontage, giving easy access to the main tourist spots around wayanad. By the end, that was the least important reason for our visit. Turn off the highway and follow the private road for a few hundred meter, and the tree canopy on both sides leads to a beautifully built home that seems to have made minimal impact on its natural surroundings. The estate is well maintained and follows an eco friendly approach with several sustainable practices. You can take an evening walk around the estate and get a sense of wayanad’s cultivation culture. The rooms are adequate and very clean. From my past experience, the sheets and towels here were cleaner than those at more famous resorts. The family made good, fresh, clean, healthy food and accommodated our specific needs. The top balcony has a wonderful view. We spent the evening there listening to birds and the forest, meditating, or just enjoying it. A free asmr treat 😂. At sunrise, we saw deer grazing in the fog, which we were told is a common sight. There are more surprises I won’t spoil. Visit to learn about the way of life and heritage tied to the estate’s history. The best homestay in wayanad. PERIOD!!
