OYO 65258 Appas Residency

Hari, the person in charge, was friendly and helpful. He suggested places to visit based on our trip plans. The room was clean, and we got hot water in the evening and morning. The view wasn't very good, and the rooms lacked ventilation. Only budget-friendly rooms are available. I stayed in December during the 2023 Christmas holidays.

There was no drinking water, soap, towel, or mosquito repellent provided, and there were lots of mosquitoes. The room was on the top floor of a commercial building and felt like a furnace with no ventilation. I paid 1252 rupees for a non-AC room with a single bed. The floor below seemed to be a shelter for drunkards, judging by the many empty beer and whisky bottles I saw. Don't stay here. If you have no other option or arrive at night, spending the night at a railway or bus stop would be much better.

The bathrooms were dirty and the rooms unhygienic, with no drinking water provided. The ad listed AC rooms, but there was no air conditioning, even though they charged us the AC room rate. Their attitude toward customers was very bad.

The rooms were really dirty and smelled like a public toilet. We also couldn't get hot water. There are plenty of clean hotels at reasonable prices.
