There wasn't a negative or zero rating option, so I had to give one star. We went to a nearby restaurant, but its toilet wasn't clean, so we asked these people if ladies could use a dormitory. They charged the whole group of 20 for just 20 minutes. When we asked them to reconsider the per-person charge, the man turned rude, behaved badly, and started shouting at us. Please stay away!

We booked through Agoda ten days before arriving, but the man at the hotel said he had no confirmation and acted as if it was none of his concern. His manner was incredibly rude. After we had already spent so much, he even challenged us to go to the police, so we filed a complaint. Google reviews make me think many other guests have gone home after being told there was no booking under their name. Very disappointed with @oyo and @agoda.

We later heard from Agoda customer service that the manager had given our room to another guest, using our booking name but a different person's ID. We got no refund and no support from Agoda, and ended up filing a police complaint against the manager. Looking at the Google reviews afterward, it seems others have faced the same problem at this hotel for a long time. We had booked two rooms in advance at Pearl view residency in Wayanad and paid before arriving. On check-in day, the manager said there was no booking and no room available. He was rude and told us to leave. Even after we showed the Agoda confirmation and payment receipt, he claimed the hotel had no listing with Oyo or Agoda, though we found it partnered with Oyo under registration number Oyo 11374. Another customer there had also paid in advance and was denied a room for the same reason. The manager insulted us, told us to go to the police and complain, and said to do whatever we wanted. This felt like outright fraud and cheating.

The bathroom was old, with broken fittings, and the extra bed they gave us was the thinnest I've ever seen. Our Deluxe room also had no TV or cable connection. When we asked, they said everything had been deactivated. The rooms and service were awful. Look for somewhere better to stay.
