The Hosteller Coorg, Madikeri

The shared space made it easy to chat with other travelers, and the dorms were clean, comfortable, and had good lockers. I was here on my own for my birthday and felt safe and welcome, with plenty of company when I wanted it and quiet time when I didn't. Hussain and Sapan were so helpful and made the trip feel special. Great location too. I'd happily recommend it to solo travelers looking for a friendly, well-run base in Coorg.

There was loads of room throughout the building, and the top floor had all kinds of indoor games. The accommodation felt really cozy, and this was one of the best dorms I've stayed in. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone traveling solo.

The place is a little off the beaten path, about 12kms from madikeri, so plan your arrival time and sort out dinner or other food ahead of time. You can also check out the inhouse cafe. The staff were really friendly and the service was great. Sapan was especially kind and helpful. A great experience, I'd recommend it.
