Gokuldham Banquet and Rooms

It’s a budget hotel close to the airport, on the fourth floor with a lift. VR Mall is nearby, so you can get food there late at night.

Cockroaches everywhere and the AC didn’t work at all. They kept moving us to different rooms, and each one had another problem. That’s how we spent our one night at this horrible hotel. Never visit. Highly not recommended to anyone.

It’s very cheap, and the rooms are big with furniture, but the hygiene and cleaning were poor. The sheets and blanket were dirty, there was a cockroach in the bathroom, and the receptionists always looked dirty too. It has the features you’d expect from a three star category hotel, but the cleanliness really lets it down.

The bed felt cramped at 6 feet long and 5 feet wide, and the blanket smelled medicinal, like a hospital. When I asked for another one, I was told they all smelled the same, so there wasn’t a proper fix. Staff were generally welcoming, the hotel was clean with no visible dust, and the Wi-Fi was reliable. Still, staff weren’t easy to reach by landline. I’d say it’s mainly suitable for business trips or solo stays, rather than leisure or family travel.
