The restaurant has a welcoming feel, and the staff are attentive and know their menu. It made the meals even more enjoyable. There's a broad choice of dishes for different tastes, with fresh local ingredients giving the food an authentic feel. I enjoyed the food from breakfast through dinner. The chefs' skill comes through in the flavors and presentation, and the dining room's decor makes it a comfortable place to sit down.

The staff stayed kind and polite even when things were rushed, and you could tell they were working hard. During my recent dinner, though, the kitchen was under a lot of pressure and dishes arrived late. The food had been amazing before the orders were hurried, but that rush brought the quality down to fair. This place works for families and couples planning an occasion dinner, and group reservations come with discounts. It has the only revolving restaurant on the top floor in Surat. The food is usually worth the price, and the portions of gravy and rice were just right, though some dishes may be too much for a few people. I don't know what staying there is like, since I've only gone for dinner. I think the management should plan special occasion menus and offers more carefully. A smaller selection of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes would ease the load on the kitchen and serving staff, and help avoid leaving them to deal with annoyed diners. There are both experienced and newer staff members. Better planning could make this place even better, as it has been over the years. This is based on one recent dinner, so I can't say whether service on ordinary days is better or worse.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the location works well if you're in the textile business, though not so much for tourists. I arrived exhausted and found the sheets dirty, so I asked to have them changed. By morning, the mattress needed replacing too. Breakfast was okay. The bathroom could use improvement, and sound from other rooms' bathrooms carries through.

It's an older property, but kept neat and clean. The rooms are small, though the bathroom is spacious, and the staff behave well. The food and buffet breakfast are good, but the prices are a little high. Its spot in the market area is especially handy if you're staying for business.
