I'm sharing what happened to me at this hotel. I booked ahead for a work trip to Surat in June 2023 and got there at around 2 am. The entrance was very dark, with no lights, and I made my way to reception as best I could. I asked for a room closer to the ground floor, but the staff member assigned me the seventh floor. I remember seeing about ten elevators, but only one was working. The floor felt creepy. Some rooms were open and unlit, and the hallway lights were blinking. I found my room and went inside. Around 2:30 am, I fell asleep and dreamed I was in that same dark room with a woman beside my bed. In the dream I woke up, tried to run out, and couldn't get away from her. When I woke for real around 3:30, the room was extremely cold and gave me chills. I didn't try to sleep again. The next morning I asked why some rooms had been left open. I was told the hotel also rents rooms to people as service apartments, and some people just leave them open. It seemed strange. The following night I returned with a plan to stay busy so I wouldn't have another creepy dream. I managed to stay awake until about 2 am, but I was tired and fell asleep. The dream came back, this time with the presence sitting at the foot of my bed. I woke when I made eye contact with her. The same anxiety, cold room, and discomfort were there. I left in the middle of the night and spent the rest of it outside on Surat's station road. I'll never know what it was or what I felt. After that hotel trip, I was bedridden for the next six months and had multiple surgeries after catching an infection. I fully recovered after a year and returned to work. I started chanting Hanuman Chalisa. Later, I found out the hotel was built on Dumas beach, which was an ancient Hindu cremation ground. I can't explain anything more. This hotel is a strange place.
