Classic Hostel

The common area was my favorite, an easy place to hang out with the island’s fastest internet. There were fresh coconuts from Nishant’s farm, a well-stocked kitchen with a coffee grinder and french press, speakers for music, and even a mini gym for a quick workout. Coffee, tea, snacks, and simple breakfast things like peanut butter and bread, milk, and cereal were always available. I stayed almost two weeks. The dorms were spacious and fun, with daily cleaning and AC. The single room was huge and could fit three people. Nishant was super friendly and provided top-quality service. Nishant/Goldie also offered great holely food service at a very reasonable price, plus laundry service that was less and 24hours. Loved my time at Classic and would definitely return. I’d recommend Goldies place too.

Goldie and the community were the best part of my 12 days here. He’s helpful and feels like a friend, and I met lots of great people. Goldie often took us out, including snorkeling at Radhanagar Beach away from the crowds. The local diving community also gathers here. We had BBQs, and Goldie’s family cooked fish we’d bought at the nearby local market, about a 10 min walk away. I was working remotely and found the space comfortable for using my laptop. The five-bed dorm was clean and well kept. There’s plenty of room in the common area, including space that could be used for yoga, a pull-up bar, and an open kitchen. They even provide free coconuts. Great experience as a solo traveler from Europe. Highly recommended, and I hope to see you again soon!

Goldie was a wonderful host, warm, approachable, and always glad to help. Classics has a great feel to it, and it was clean, tidy, and easy to settle into. The location worked really well, just steps from the main stretch of the street, so it was easy to explore while still having a relaxed place to come back to. Highly recommend it for the comfort, good energy, and genuine hospitality.

Goldie is a brilliant host, full of stories and knowledge. The hostel is tucked off the main road in the jungle, but the location is amazing. We loved staying here and only wish we’d had more time. Thanks so much for having us!
