De Foret

The staff made the stay especially memorable. One morning we were rushing to a trek, and while I was grabbing bananas from the buffet, they offered to pack sandwiches and fruit too. I was grateful not to head out hungry. The villa with its private pool felt luxurious, and we also enjoyed the clean common pool, which was kept at a comfortable temperature without a strong chemical smell. The food was nice, though I’d have liked more healthy Indian choices at breakfast. Everyone was friendly and caring.

Mahesh (bar boy) really stood out, always smiling, attentive, and polite, and he made sure everything was served just right. We had a great time at De Foret. The setting is lovely, the food and drinks were excellent, and the atmosphere felt both classy and relaxing. A nice place to unwind, and I’d recommend it.

Breakfast had a good range and tasted delicious, and the location made it easy to get around and see nearby places. We had a lovely stay, with clean, roomy, comfortable rooms. Abishek was very friendly, and the staff were helpful and welcoming throughout. We’d happily stay here again.

The restaurant was better than we expected. The deep-fried dishes were excellent, and Yogesh sharma helped us choose from the menu with a friendly manner and made sure everyone was looked after. Thanks to him, we ate all our dinners at the hotel. The breakfast buffet was good quality, though it could have offered more variety, and the North Indian gravies and breads need improvement. The location is very good, about a five-minute scooter ride from Radha nagar beach, and the property looked better than we expected. But maintenance was poor. On our first day, we found the room dirty and had to wait over 70 minutes at the front desk to get it changed. Shilpa was dismissive, showed no respect, and did not respond properly. Pratik's hospitality was the reason we didn't leave that day. Things only got sorted after pratheek stepped in, and I felt sorry that he had to come back halfway from his market journey just to help with the room change. Shilpa and preety at the front desk need to learn how to speak with guests and manage problems. If the front desk, especially Shilpa, doesn't improve, the hotel risks losing customers and its reputation.
