Ayush was the only person who seemed to understand our concerns and tried to help. Everyone else left requests unanswered, even after we asked four or five times. There were only 3/4 staff looking after 82 rooms, which may explain how casually things were handled. The photos don't reflect the actual rooms. They were spacious, but cleanliness and hygiene were at zero: the washrooms looked as if they hadn't been cleaned in years, the bedsheets smelled of urine, and the cabinets and chairs were covered in dust. Given the location and space, this place could have been one of the best if someone made an effort to maintain it. My problem is with the owner and management as well as the staff.

The mosquitoes seemed like the real VIPs in the room. There was no room phone, so getting anything fixed meant asking staff in person, and good luck with that. The TV cable needed a recharge before it would work. As for Wi-Fi, they don't seem to know what it is. Staff were rude and arrogant, as if letting you breathe their air was a favor. The toilet was dirty and hygiene seemed nonexistent; the water heater was disconnected and basically a clothes rack. I'd rather sleep on the street than stay here again. Google won't let me give negative points, or I'd rate it -10. If you care about your health and sanity, stay far away. Don't risk malaria or other mosquito-borne diseases to save a buck.

There were repeated power cuts at night, more than 50, with breaks long enough to wear down our patience, and no backup. The rooms have no windows for ventilation, so the high humidity made them suffocating when the power went off. Staff were completely unresponsive; there was no landline to reception, and the mobile number they gave us was never answered. No one was at reception, and they never picked up our calls. There's no Wi-Fi either. I ignored previous reviews, but they were 200% right. Do not stay here, even for a day. You'll regret it.

The food was the best part, really delicious at both dinner and breakfast. Check-in, though, was frustrating: despite our pre-booking, they had no record of the room and took 15-20 minutes to hand over the keys. The fan and AC in that room weren't working, so they assigned another one. By then, about half an hour had passed. We were exhausted after two connecting flights, a two-hour jetty ride, and nearly 20 hours of travel in all, so the extra delay was really frustrating.
