The slow Wi-Fi was my only real complaint. We stayed in a large suite facing the front lawn, with beds for four, two clean bathrooms, two ACs, and working geysers. The room was clean and maintained well, and the suite price seemed affordable. Welcome kits were included. The hotel is right by the main road and about a 10-minute walk from Tarapith Temple. It has a big parking area, a lovely front lawn and garden, a swimming pool, and a clean, reasonably priced dormitory for drivers. The food was delicious and, to me, fairly priced. The reception and restaurant responded quickly to calls, and staff were helpful and well behaved. There was a party in the room above us, but the thick walls kept it from disturbing our sleep. I read some of the reviews afterward and hadn’t run into many of those problems myself. They did forget napkins with the food, but brought them right away after a call. The TV needed a DTH recharge, which they sorted out immediately when we called. There were coffee pouches but no teabags, and no spoon to stir the coffee, though we managed. The hotel had very few guests while we were there, which may be why service was so good. I can’t say how it is during peak times.
