Mount Valley Mama Cottage

The staff are polite and helpful, and the quiet setting has lovely mountain views while still being close to the main places to explore. At Mount Valley Mama Cottage, the rooms are comfortable, neat, and well cared for. It’s a wonderful place to stay in Rishikesh, with a nice mix of nature, comfort, and welcoming service.

Mama's thali and chocolate balls were delicious, and the room was big, clean, and felt safe. The views and service were great, and the stay was excellent value for money. I had a fabulous three nights here and really hope to come back :)

There’s construction on the block at the moment, though it should be finished soon. Aside from that, we really enjoyed our stay and would book again if we returned to Rishikesh. This is family-run accommodation in a peaceful area, with clean rooms that are good for the price. The mama who runs it is a sweet lady, and all the staff were helpful with whatever we needed. The shower had hot water, laundry was good quality and cheap, and affordable food was available too.

Quiet and clean, and a good option for solo travelers or couples. There are rooms at different prices. I’m paying 600 for a basic fan room, but the bed is super comfortable and the wifi is strong. I recommend it.
