Camp in Rishikesh

The morning and evening views were lovely, and for the price I thought the stay was worthwhile. We paid around ₹1500 per person per night for a cottage, with three meals included. Four people could share one cottage with two double beds, and the price went down with more people. Service was really good and everyone was humble. I spoke with the owner, who said they’d recently bought the property and changed everything that month, so don’t rely on reviews from before October 2022. The parking area still needs work, though, since it gets muddy when it rains.

We went with friends for river rafting and camping, and the stay was wonderful. The camp sits high in the valley at shivpuri, with an amazing view. It was calm and peaceful, the tents were spacious, and there’s a swimming pool. The staff were incredibly cooperative, and the food was the part we liked best. When you’re away, a good meal matters, and the food here really delivered. Thanks again for making the stay memorable. I hope we can visit again sometime.

I’m writing this from the camp at 1 am because there’s been no power for four hours, and the generator isn’t working. The tents are old, torn, and in poor condition. Staff are extremely unfriendly, and the facilities are poor. Better not to visit, or at least don’t pay the whole amount in advance.

I left after just an hour. The beds were in such poor shape they seemed like they’d break as soon as anyone sat down, and there were no safety measures. The place lacked sanitation, the water quality was bad, and I had to buy bottled water at double the price. Service was very poor, and the staff were rude and unhelpful. Not a good place to go.
