A beautiful, clean place among the hills, with amazing staff. You should meet dinesh there.

You can see mountains on two sides since the place sits at a corner. I’d love to come back again and again. Dinesh is welcoming and very cooperative.

A good hotel in a quieter part of Tapovan.

The price for a room here is good for the area. It’s clean and set a little back from the main road in upper Tapovan, so it’s very quiet. My room had a lovely view of the mountains around it. It felt more like being in a village than in a town. I definitely recommend staying at Nishan Garden Resort when visiting Rishikesh!

For the price, this was actually pretty good. The room was a good size, the shower and hot water were as expected, and the WiFi worked. The mattress was lumpy and clearly well-used. There’s no AC, which I knew before I arrived. Nearby is a nice little cafe with reasonable prices, and you can use the yoga shala on the top floor. I’d recommend it to budget travelers. It might be a pleasant stay in the cooler part of the year.
