The view was great, and the rooms were neat and had balconies. We stayed for a day and found the service really good. It’s within walking distance of Laxman Jhula, and the markets are accessible too. Food-10/10 Rooms- 9/10 Service -9/10 Cleanliness- 10/10 Ambience -10/10 Location- 9/10

Mr.Tyagi, the receptionist, was very nice at first, but after we booked, the service problems started. There were issues with toiletries, power cuts, and the AC, and they seemed to take every chance to charge extra. We were caught in the rain and had told them our luggage was packed, yet they still forced us to pay 1000rs for a late checkout of just one hour. It didn’t feel fair. They were very rude after check-in. Please avoid this stay. You could end up in a fight.

The location is handy, with Lakshman Jhula, the main road, and eateries within walking distance. Staff were helpful and cooperative, listening and trying to sort out problems with what they had. Every room has a balcony, which helps bring in sunlight, and the upper rooms have a better view. There was a generator, and hot water was available 24*7. But hygiene and cleanliness are the biggest problems now. We stayed in Room no. 101, where the floor was so dirty we couldn’t walk barefoot, and it hadn’t been swept or mopped. The washroom smelled, and the dirt on the tiles looked like they hadn’t been cleaned since 2017. There was no room dustbin, only one in the bathroom below the washbasin, so we had to go in there each time we needed to throw something away. The towels weren’t clean, and one was nearly torn. We asked for a doormat outside the bathroom, but the one they gave us was so dirty it made our feet dirty. There’s no lift, which could be difficult for seniors or people with disabilities. I stayed here with friends in Nov-2017, when the hotel was quite new, and we had a great experience. This time I booked three nights without even checking reviews because of that earlier visit. It was a terrible stay, and I’d have checked out the next day if I hadn’t paid in advance. Upper floor rooms cost a bit more, and their condition may be better, but I can’t say for sure. Until they improve the cleanliness, I wouldn’t advise staying here. With friends you might manage, but I definitely don’t recommend it for families.

The staff were really uncooperative and lazy, and I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone. Apart from breakfast, everything was disgusting. The rooms were poorly maintained, with mold visible on the walls, a nonworking AC, and soiled towels that caused an allergy. The washroom smelled terrible, its rack was broken, and the toiletries were poor. The tissue rolls were soaked in water. There were insects, spiders, and mosquitoes, and the water supply was disrupted at night, causing a lot of inconvenience. The geyser didn’t work at all.
