We spent four nights and five days at The Ridgehouse Tehri for a reunion with four couples who’ve known each other for a long time. It was exactly the getaway we had hoped for, and we didn’t regret a moment. The place feels cozy and thoughtfully designed, almost like a home, with stunning Himalayan views. The staff were incredible and went out of their way to meet each guest’s individual needs. Food was prepared with such care and love that every meal felt memorable.

The staff and owner made this a great place to stay, and the hospitality was next level. Food is made to suit your taste and requests, and they can arrange special things too. It’s in an amazing spot for anyone looking for peace and a chance to relax.

The team was polite throughout. Amit, Johar, and Bipin looked after us, Dixit was the overall in-charge, and the chef, Shiv, made good food. Ask him what’s best, and try some local pahadi dishes, he’ll have suggestions. The four people taking care of the property keep the rooms cozy and well maintained, and the flowers and plants are well cared for. The property is cleaned and gets some maintenance every day. If you want a bonfire and barbeque, ask ahead, they make good barbeque. We stayed at The Ridge House from 22 - 25 Oct 2025. It’s secluded and a bit far away, which is nice in a way, but plan ahead and bring medicines and other essentials. The villa faces East, so the deck is a great sunrise spot. We caught some amazing sunrises on two days. A couple of things could improve. They sometimes forget what was ordered, so it would help if they wrote orders down somewhere or guests reminded them. Food is expensive. I understand the hill logistics and that it’s freshly made, so you get good food, but lowering the price would be great. The place is a bit expensive overall, though considering everything, that may feel all right. There are a lot of spiders, and pest control would help. Compared with other places we looked at, this beats everything. It’s a great place, especially if you go as a group. Just call Dixit and he’ll get things done. Thank you Ridge House, keep it up. I’ll come back soon.

The house’s decor and plants could keep you exploring for days, and the mountain views, especially at sunrise, are stunning. We stayed three nights at the Ridge House and would strongly recommend it to anyone wanting to unwind in peace. The food was homely and filling, and we had no complaints about the service. Satish and Bali took good care of our requests.
