The evening at Pebble Bar was a lovely way to wind down, with a calm, refined atmosphere and well-made cocktails. The bartender's care and skill really showed. I also had a relaxing massage at the elegant, peaceful spa, and the therapist knew the pressure points well. The doctor explained the Nadi Pariksha clearly and with real grace. The 7:00 AM to 8:00 AM yoga session left me refreshed and grounded for the day. Later, the 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM high tea alongside the serene Ganga Aarti felt like a thoughtful touch. From the swing on the 11th floor at sunset, the wide views were mesmerizing and so peaceful. The property is beautiful and carefully maintained, with understated luxury throughout. Staff in every area, from the front office and F&B to the spa and housekeeping, were warm and professional, and the stay felt smooth and memorable. I won't mention names on a public forum, but service was consistently outstanding across departments. It brought together luxury, wellness, and thoughtful experiences so well that we'd gladly return.

The buffet could use some work. Its taste was average, especially next to the much better à la carte food. Even so, we had a very enjoyable family trip at The Westin Resort & Spa, Himalayas, where we stayed from 13th to 15th June 2025. The resort is on the expensive side, and I think some of the high price may come from the hype created by people and influencers. It does feel premium, though. We spent both days within the resort and didn't get bored. The views were lovely, and as someone from Uttarakhand, I found the natural surroundings familiar rather than artificial or overdone. The weather was pleasant too. My daughter loves swimming and had a great time in the excellent pool areas. There's also a kids' play area that kept children occupied and gave parents some time to relax. It was a very good, peaceful, family-friendly stay.

The food stood out for its great variety and taste. We had a wonderful stay, and both the atmosphere and service were better than we expected. Neha Bisht at the front desk was warm and helpful, and Bakul Gaur gave us excellent support and service throughout. Highly recommended!

The room was decent, but it didn't impress me. For what I paid, I expected better upkeep and interiors, along with a much nicer view. Neither the room nor its view felt worth the high cost. Extra activities and facilities, including indoor games, also came with a charge, though at this price and level I would expect some of them to be included. I picked The Westin expecting a premium five-star stay because it's part of Marriott, but the experience fell short. It didn't feel like a true five-star hotel, and the little details and services that make a luxury visit special were missing. The service felt basic and not very personal, and I didn't feel as valued as I have at many other five-star hotels for a similar price. Overall, the stay felt average rather than premium.
